Marcelo lives in Manaus, one of the places that is most impacted by Covid-19 cases around the world and has himself lost family members to the virus. He says ‘people share anything… without checking the facts’. Now, he is doing his own research on the news and challenging misinformation he hears. Sufyan lives in Bradford in the UK and his family have received fake news on WhatsApp. He has become a Covid Youth Ambassador with Bradford Council, using TikTok and videos to help people in his local community understand health information. They have joined other students around the world in the More Viral Than The Virus movement – using their expertise to challenge false information about coronavirus amongst young people.
